What's that I hear? Crickets???

Outfit 82 - 2013-14 School Year

Okay, yes, it is back again today. Really, though, it is the last time this week you will see it ;) I mean I ordered all these fabrics from Girl Charlee and several of them just chanted - CR-IH-CKET, CR-IIIIH-CKET. So, what could I do? I mean, I hadn't made one in a border print yet. And it turned out, surprise, surprise - AH-MAY-ZING. My only complaint about this fabric is that it is on the sheer side, so we ended up with a cami and leggings on under it. But, if that's all I have to complain about, I'm doing pretty good.

((Why, yes, you have seen that pattern picture before. And have you bought this pattern?? If yes, skip the next section. If no, click here https://www.etsy.com/listing/174231043/bg-originals-crickets-dress-and-tunic?ref=shop_home_active_3 now and order it. I mean, really, how much convincing do I have to do?? ;) ))

Okay and here is our fabric du jour - Girl Charlee is sold out of the navy colorway that I used, but they have the kelly green colorway seen here

AND for your viewing pleasure - check out this new place the photog hubby scouted for pictures. It is SO pretty! (and she was a great sport because it was cold).

Okay - so if you are tired of the dress, at least you got some new scenery ;)

So, here is my parenting screw up of the day. So around 9pm after she had studied her head of for a science test this week, she said she wanted a hot donut. So, we loaded everybody in the car and headed to the Kracky Kreme. I fed my kids donuts at almost 10 and got her to bed at 1030. But, in my defense, who can resist the bright red sign. No, I didn't record it on my fitness pal. Somethings you just know *sigh*

Come back tomorrow for a fun outfit that is part of a little announcement. NO, Im not pregnant (puh-leeze, Im not far off from forty with a 13 yr old and a 10 yr old.) and NO I didn't make another Cricket (although I can whip these suckers out in my sleep). It's just something fun :)

Hope to see you tomorrow!
