A Girl and A Mouse

Outfit 102 - 2013-14 School Year

You knew Mickey was coming back, right? I am still sewing fast and furious for our Disney Spring Break trip. We leave next Friday after school for a fun filled 5 days at Disney World and then a 3 night Disney Cruise. Will she take all of these Disney inspired outfits? Probably not, but it sure has been fun sewing them. And the ones she doesn't keep will be donated, so it's a win/win for everyone. I mean, who isn't a little happier when Disney is involved?

Today we have another upcycled Funktional Threads Rachel dress. https://www.etsy.com/listing/151376483/instant-download-rachel-knit-dress-diy?ref=shop_home_feat_2. Honestly, if you sew, you need this pattern. It is an amazing upcycle pattern.

I ended up making it asymmetrical because the shirt I upcycled wasnt quite long enough for the front pattern piece and I didn't feel like adding fabric (lazy lazy, right?) But I ended up liking the look. Here is our upcycled Rachel Knit Dress from Funktional Threads.

As you can see - this outfit inspires fun :) Comfortable, cute and not a huge time sink (cutting is probably the longest part). The Rachel Knit Dress is a must have!

See you tomorrow and have a happy hump day!
