A Rainy Night in Georgia

How's the weather where you are? It is currently pouring down rain here in the fine state of Georgia and we are having highs in the 70s this week. Bleh. Its not really feeling a lot like Christmas. Are you getting snow? I would love to have some snow. Not like the Dakota/Alaska up to your roofline snow, more like the Earth is glistening in winter white snow. Of course, you know we cancel school around here if it flurries and we can't drive on a good day. Throw some precipitation in the mix and we are a mess - especially if its the frozen kind. Anyway, I think I will have to take my miss to see Frozen this week so I can feel cold.

Onto todays outfit. Today I drafted my own skirt for her. Its a double layered, ruffle bottom skirt.  The bottom layer is all one fabric with the same fabric for the ruffle. The upper layer is pieced Christmas fabric with a ruffle. It's all paired up with a cute Walmart Grinch shirt.

She's "shooting" her brother in this picture :)

We went to the orthodontist today and had impressions done and she had spacers placed in her back molars. She goes back next week to get brackets on the back teeth and she will have head gear for six months to rotate her back molars forward. Then, she will get a full upper and lower set of braces for 2 years.

She handled everything well. She's a little sore tonight from the spacers, but she's been a good sport.

Are you feeling Christmas-y yet? If you have made something Christmas related already, link it below. Also, if you have any ideas for handmade gifts or recipes - I'd love to see them. I will be sharing somethings with you guys as gift ideas in the days to come!

Hope to see you tomorrow!
