Posh Elegance (and I want one TOOOOOO!!!)

Outfit 73 - 2013-14 School Year

I love this dress. I mean I LOVE this dress. I mean *I* want this dress.

Today's dress is from another new for me designer that has been releasing some bigger girl sizes recently. The designer is Brownie Goose. She is fellow Georgian (woot woot Go Southern gals!). And she has AMAZING classic patterns. Today's pattern is the Cricket dress https://www.etsy.com/listing/174231043/bg-originals-crickets-dress-and-tunic?ref=shop_home_active_1

So, I decided to make mine out of a gorgeous Navy ponte de roma knit I got from fabric.com https://www.fabric.com/buy/0266952/solid-ponte-de-roma-knit-navy

I love the weight of it. It is perfect for these in between temperature days like we are having now.

This dress has some amazing details. I love the sleeves with their gathered bottoms into the little sleeve binding and the gathered shoulder detailing. I love the keyhole back. The curved hemline is also very cute. Again, *I* want this dress! And it was so well written. I HIGHLY recommend this one. It is recommended for lightweights and knits. I liked it with the ponte de roma because it was knit but still had body. It looked really pretty on her pattern page in the voiles too.

So, here is today's posh and lovely Brownie Goose Cricket.

*sigh*

AND tomorrow I'll have my some of my favorite things - all VINTAGE! Yum! :) Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow!
