The Leaves are Falling Down

Happy Monday, friends. The leaves indeed are starting to fall down. As a matter of fact "FALL" is everywhere. Even this weekend time FELL back. All of this fall has gotten me into Autumnal colors with my fabrics. So, when I went to Joanns last week with my 30% off coupon, these beauties had to come home with me. When I bought them, I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them which is probably why I have a whole garage full of fabric. I SO need to clean out and purge my fabrics stash, but that is a whole other issue :) Im a hoarder. Are you? I go back and forth with how I buy fabric. Sometimes I buy fabric for a project other times I just buy fabric because its pretty. Do you have a method for buying fabric?

So, tonight's pattern comes from Whimsy Couture. You can find their patterns here on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/shop/whimsycouture. This pattern is their Longsleeved Peasant. I made it with the 3/4 sleeves. You can find the pattern here https://www.etsy.com/listing/166418899/whimsy-couture-sewing-pattern-tutorial?ref=shop_home_active. It goes up to a size 12 but you probably could easily keep upsizing it. The only pattern piece to print is the arm cutouts. Other than that it is just cutting measurements. This is the picture from the website for the pattern.

It actually comes with the directions to make the bow, too. I have used this pattern a ton. This is a picture from Valentine's Day using it

This was a great shoot we did for my boutique shop last Valentine's Day. This dress is so versatile. You will use it ALL the time.

Here are the pics from today's outfit using the Whimsy Couture Long Sleeved Peasant Dress in a sz 12 (and it sews up SO fast!)

Isn't is awesome? You can also find Whimsy Couture on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/WhimsyCoutureSewingPatterns

How are you coping with the time change? I don't like it getting dark at 5:45. It looked like midnight at 6:30 last night. It definitely eats into my picture taking time! On the upside, it means its getting close to the holidays. I went to a Christmas festival this past weekend and they had tons of vendors with awesome holiday crafts and Christmas music playing. I got some new decorations for the house and I was so excited I wish I could put them out. I am a decorate after Thanksgiving gal, though. But, on the upside, Joann and Hobby Lobby had fall stuff on sale, so my living room looks all Autumnal too :)

Hope you have a great evening and we will see you tomorrow!
